Dr. Zeller believes watching someone heal and return to their passions is an amazing feeling.<\/p>\n<p>And through his own passion, Dr. Zeller helped develop an outstanding Athletic Training program for students.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_divider _builder_version=&#8221;4.23&#8243; content_max_width=&#8221;1100px&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Dr. Brian Zeller has been a professor at W<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">inona State\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">for more than 20 years\u2014and he couldn&#8217;t be happier about going\u00a0into this field\u00a0because\u00a0now he gets to teach future athletic trainers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">To Dr. Zeller, the students always come first<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">He<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\"> loves it when students a<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">sk him questions about <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">thei<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">r classes, come to him for mentoring on <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">thei<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">r future career decisions, or simply say hi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_divider _builder_version=&#8221;4.23&#8243; header_level=&#8221;h2&#8243; content_max_width=&#8221;1100px&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www2.winona.edu\/athletic-training\/\">Athletic Training program<\/a> prioritizes getting students real, hands-on experience to prepare them for their careers.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>On campus, Athletic Training students practice their skills in state-of-the-art lab spaces and use cutting-edge technology. I also got to work hands-on with Warrior student athletes to learn proper techniques and figure out what worked best for me.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">I always admired Dr. Zeller&#8217;s willingness to promote the profession of Athletic Training and give back through his work with various professional organizations. Dr. Zeller has been a shining light to the profession of Athletic Training and continues to be a resource for me.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559740&quot;:240}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Today, I provide direct clinical medical care for the UMN Men&#8217;s Hockey team. I also supervise a staff of Associate and Assistant Athletic Trainers and even students like Bailey Luna.
