Winona State\u2019s Multicultural Education Certificate Program (MECP)<\/a> helps professionals understand how multicultural theory and research can inform their professional practices.<\/p>\n Participants explore how their own demographic characteristics and cultural experiences impact their work with diverse clientele.<\/p>\n They then engage in an ethnographic analysis by diving into a specific equity issue within the contexts of their workplace.<\/p>\n WSU has delivered the MECP to professionals across multiple sectors including health care, education, and government.
