Believe in yourself. There are a lot of people both in plain sight and some who are silent who are rooting for you. Don’t be afraid to ask for help but also don’t be afraid to take chances. You will be amazed at what you can do!<\/p>\n

I know it’s cheesy but never stop dreaming big. There are so many opportunities out there that are waiting for you to find. Like I said before, believe in yourself! Don’t underestimate the power of being a young student on a small campus. Your voice matters. Stand up for what you believe in and always remember in a world where you can be anything, be kind.<\/p>\n

It would be impossible for me to pick just one because I have loved so much of my experience at WSU! I would say my favorite part overall has been meeting new people and developing relationships with my professors and mentors. There is a caring spirit among this campus. I feel like there are people who truly care about me and my academic success as well as my success beyond the classroom.<\/p>\n

I am humbled to have been a part of this university. I have left blood sweat and tears in the classrooms and hallways of this campus in order to work towards the goal of graduation and I am really proud of how far I have come. I am excited to be an alumna going out in the world and saying I learned a lot of what I know from the educators and mentors here at WSU.\u00a0 There is a lot of bad in this world. But Winona State makes me believe that there is more good than bad. I know WSU will always be a place I can call home and I am extremely proud to be a Warrior.<\/p>\n

The experiences I had in the Public Health department helped me land an incredible internship with the Wisconsin Women’s Health Foundation, where I will now be working after I graduate. I owe a lot of this success to the members in the HERS department as well as Kate Noelke. I felt as though I had a team behind me who helped me prepare for this next big step. I can say with confidence that I am ready and excited to get out in the “real world” and make something of myself while helping those in need.<\/p>\n
