There are a lot of people both in plain sight and some who are silent who are rooting for you. Don&#8217;t be afraid to ask for help but also don&#8217;t be afraid to take chances. There are so many opportunities out there that are waiting for you to find. Like I said before, believe in yourself! Don&#8217;t underestimate the power of being a young student on a small campus. Your voice matters. I would say my favorite part overall has been meeting new people and developing relationships with my professors and mentors. There is a caring spirit among this campus. I have left blood sweat and tears in the classrooms and hallways of this campus in order to work towards the goal of graduation and I am really proud of how far I have come. I am excited to be an alumna going out in the world and saying I learned a lot of what I know from the educators and mentors here at WSU.\u00a0 There is a lot of bad in this world. But Winona State makes me believe that there is more good than bad. I owe a lot of this success to the members in the HERS department as well as Kate Noelke. I felt as though I had a team behind me who helped me prepare for this next big step.
