My book was realistic fiction and was about the process of a monarch caterpillar turning into a butterfly. It talked about the different stages of the transformation and went in detail about the process. I\u2019m hoping the kids will take away a deeper understanding of this cycle in nature. <\/p>\n<p>The process of writing the book was a very unique experience for me. It was neat to brainstorm possible topics that young children would be interested in and learn from. When it came to writing out the storyline, I had to reread it multiple times in order to fix grammar issues and make sure it flowed well. All of the pictures in my book were hand drawn and I found it fun to use my own creativity to illustrate the story.
