I thought, how am I going to find the time and energy to do this project. My feelings about the project were completely negative, and then the due dates started to come around. I completed what I was supposed to with haste. However, I found myself to begin to enjoy the project. I genuinely felt joy and a relief of stress by coloring the pages of my book. <\/p>\n<p>I loved challenging myself to write a book that was complicated, but not so difficult that the Second graders wouldn\u2019t understand. I chose to write about the environment, and what the elementary children can do to help protect and conserve the world we have. I am very proud of the book I wrote. I also find it incredibly thoughtful for Professor Hudgens Henderson to have her students do a project like this, and donate them to the schools.
