Conway Hall

Conway Hall is located on the northwestern edge of Main Campus between Richards Hall and the Science Laboratory Center. Conway, Richards, and Morey-Shepard halls are all connected.

Conway Hall features traditional single-style units that include a private sink as well as a walk-in closet and a full-length mirror.

If you want to live within your very own on-campus “village” and be close to a large pool of students right when you arrive, then this residence hall is calling your name.

Conway Hall and its individual units are single-gendered and are designated for female students per our housing policies.

Part of this residence hall is also designated for our Gender-Inclusive Housing Community.

Conway Hall also primarily houses first-year students.

Conway Hall has one unit size for students seeking the traditional college housing experience with extra privacy and independence.

You can choose from a Single – 1 person.

Gender-Inclusive Housing

Conway Hall is also where our Gender-Inclusive Housing Community is located. Gender-Inclusive Housing provides students the opportunity to live in a community regardless of their sex, gender identity, and/or gender expression.

Unit Furniture & Other Features

Every unit in Conway Hall comes furnished with:

An extra-long twin bed
An extra-long twin mattress—soft on one side, firm on the other
A desk with 2 drawers and 2 open shelves
A desk chair
A walk-in closet with built-in dresser drawers and cubbies for extra storage
A full-length mirror

Each unit also includes a private sink, meaning you don’t have to walk down the hall to brush your teeth or get a drink of water.

Other unit features include:

Windows with coverings
Free internet access* via campus WiFi
Trash and recycling bins*

Front Desk & Mail Area

The front desk for Conway Hall is located in Morey-Shepard, which are the residence halls set in front of Conway Hall and Richards Hall.

At the front desk, you can use your Warrior ID to check-out kitchen equipment, board games, DVDs, basic tools, jumper cables, and more.

This is also the area where you’ll check in yourself or guests who plan to stay in your room overnight. Please stay up-to-date on housing policies to ensure you aren’t in violation.

You can pick up any packages you receive that can’t fit inside your mailbox behind the front desk. You’ll get an email notifying you that you have a package waiting for pickup.

Another essential near the front desk is a printer that you can use to print your homework assignments, study notes, or lecture slides from class.

Kitchens

The second and fourth floors of Conway Hall have full kitchens that will easily meet all your cooking needs.

The kitchen facilities are equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, and sink.

You can check-out any kitchen equipment you don’t bring during move-in at the front desk of the building.

Lounge

There’s a main lounge located on the first floor of Conway Hall.

Hang out with your friends and classmates or settle into the comfy chairs and watch a movie on the wall-mounted TV.

You can even study your lecture notes and complete class projects in this space. The choice is yours.

Resident Assistants (RAs) also tend to host fun floor and building events in this main lounge, so keep an eye on when events will be held here.

Laundry

On the first floor of Conway Hall, you’ll find the laundry facility where you can do your laundry for free.

The laundry room has 3 washers and 3 dryers.

Don’t forget your detergent and dryer sheets!

Outdoor Courtyard

Located in the center of Conway Hall, Richards Hall, and Morey-Shepard halls is an outdoor courtyard perfect for anyone itching for some fresh air.

Challenge your roomie to a game of volleyball at the sand court or complete your homework assignments on the benches.

You can also play outdoor games on the green space by checking-out game equipment at the front desk.

24/7 Security & Controlled Door Access

To maintain your safety on campus, only students who live in “The Quad” can use their Warrior IDs to enter the complex.

That means students living in other residence halls or guests must have a Quad resident accompany and escort them to and from the building when visiting.
