Well, maybe not the most important thing \u2014 second, of course, to the<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.winona.edu\/admissions\/blog\/the-hottest-coffee-shops-in-winona\/\"> local coffee shop<\/a> ratings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Obviously that is my opinion, but I think most would agree. Don\u2019t you?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"1080\" height=\"608\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/pnqBGdTmzDI?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><b>Winona Gems<\/b><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Winona is home to many of the typical chain ice cream stops such as Dairy Queen, McDonalds, A&amp;W and Culver\u2019s. Although these chain restaurants are appreciable, they often overshadow some of Winona\u2019s greatest gems: Lakeview Drive Inn, Penguin Zesto and Nate &amp; Ally\u2019s Frozen Treat Creations.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #333333;\"><a style=\"color: #333333;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cityofwinona.com\/city-services\/parks-recreation\/recreation-centers\/lake-lodge\/\"><b>Lake Lodge Recreation Center<\/b><\/a><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">My friends and I decided to take a tour around Winona to visit all three locations. To do so, we stopped by the Lake Lodge and used our $20 annual pass to borrow a tandem bike for a few hours. Don\u2019t wait to get your annual pass. Lakeview Drive Inn has many ice cream and old fashioned root beer float options. Many people love the twisted flavor burst rainbow combo cones. For the second stop on our ice cream tour, we visited the Winona Penguin Zesto but there is also another one located in our neighboring town, Goodview.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Zestos has an array of ice cream treats as well as classic American food. My personal favorite is a chocolate ice cream cone dipped in toasted coconut hardshell. It tastes like German chocolate cake in a cone!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Penguin Zesto is sometimes hard for people to find.
