They can help you find where you\u2019re supposed to go and as the name states&#8230; welcome you to WSU!<\/p>\n<p>Once you find your parking spot, you should head to the front desk of your residence hall to check in for your move-in appointment.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_blurb title=&#8221;Move-In Appointment&#8221; content_max_width=&#8221;1100px&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Move-In Appointment Blurb&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_level=&#8221;h2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Your move-in appointment will be held at the front desk of your residence hall.<\/p>\n<p>During your appointment, you\u2019ll be given your room key and Warrior ID and you\u2019ll be checked into the residence hall. If your student ID isn\u2019t ready yet, you\u2019ll be given a temporary ID, which you need to return after you finish moving your belongings into your room.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll also be asked if you want a loft kit, which costs $50 per semester.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_blurb title=&#8221;Room Key&#8221; content_max_width=&#8221;1100px&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Room Key Blurb&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_level=&#8221;h2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019ll only get one room key during your move-in appointment.<\/p>\n<p>If you lose or damage your room key during the year, report it to your RA immediately, so you can get a new key cut or have the lock for your room changed at an extra cost.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_blurb title=&#8221;Student ID&#8221; content_max_width=&#8221;1100px&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Student ID Blurb&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_level=&#8221;h2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Student IDs grant students access to their residence halls and other buildings that can only be accessed by students.<\/p>\n<p>Student IDs are also used at the dining hall for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/housing\/dining.asp\">meal swipes<\/a> and dining currency like Dining Dollars.<\/p>\n<p>While you\u2019re moving your items into the residence hall, make use of the amenities there for all students to use like moving carts, elevators, ramped entrances, etc.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_blurb][et_pb_blurb title=&#8221;Moving Carts&#8221; content_max_width=&#8221;1100px&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Moving Carts Blurb&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.8.1&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_level=&#8221;h2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Moving carts are in the lobby of your residence hall and range from large moving bins to rolling wire shelves to small shopping carts. Please return any moving carts you use back to the lobby of the residence hall when you aren\u2019t using them.<\/p>\n<p>Once you\u2019ve finished moving in and returned all your borrowed items to their right places, you can finally sit and relax.<\/p>\n<p>Take a stroll around campus or <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.winona.edu\/campus-life\/blog\/the-unofficial-restaurant-guide-for-a-weekend-in-winona\/\">grab some food<\/a> with your family and friends who helped you move in.
