Work will commence as follows, as funds become available.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Phase 1: Videoboard &amp; Sound System<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>Price Tag: $900k<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Phase 1 is officially underway! Up first &#8211; the videoboard in the South End Zone, with installment slated for late July. While a large-scale videoboard might sound like a luxury, it\u2019s truly a necessity according to Head Football Coach Tom Sawyer. \u201cIt has become the primary element in facility design to enhance the game day experience and a state-of-the-art atmosphere,\u201d Sawyer says. By impacting the game day experience so heavily, the full effect of adding the videoboard extends directly to recruitment and attracting more fans to the stadium \u2013 which in turn will increase revenue for the program through ticket sales and advertising opportunities.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Phase 2: South End Zone<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>Price Tag: $500k<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Once the videoboard and sound system are up and running, attention will turn to the planned terrace seating and viewing areas at the South End Zone \u2013 creating a hub of activity for groups and alumni in a suite atmosphere and elevated seating extremely close to the action. This phase will also allow for the increase in stadium storage capacity.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Phase 3: East Grandstands<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>Price Tag: $2.8M<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The bulk of the work will be done during Phase 3 of the project \u2013 and that will be to address the dire conditions of many amenities (or lack thereof) in the stadium itself.
