The news is out: Winona State now has live television streaming for any mobile device! Elevate by Espial is a service provided for WSU residents. With this service included in Housing & Residence Life fees, residents can access current, live TV.

What is Elevate?

Elevate streams through HBC, Winona’s cable provider. As students living in the residence halls, we can access Elevate on our laptops, phones, TVs, and other mobile devices. As long as you’re within the HBC network, which is only in the residence halls, then you can continue streaming.

What can I access through Elevate?

Below is the channel guide:

You can also access this through the Elevate mobile app under the “Guide” section.

How do I access Elevate?

To get started, check out this flyer on how to download the app or how to set it up with Roku, Android, and other devices.

Benefits of Elevate

Impatient? Elevate is perfect for you! You won’t need to wait for a show to upload to other subscription services, such as Netflix or Hulu, but you can watch it live.

Pro-tip: Watch up to four different channels at the same time, on four different devices, within one account!

This newly acclimated service now provides all students with live-streaming abilities, whether or not you have a TV. Many residents have expressed their excitement for this service, especially during a “girl’s night in” or football-watching party. Download the app today and take advantage of this service that you already paid for!
