Fall 2021 is going to look much different than Fall 2020 and Spring 2021 here at Winona State. This past school year was hard with online classes and getting very little human interaction because of COVID-19. But have no fear, it seems like this is going to change soon! Here are some things that students have to look forward to in the coming semester.
In-Person Classes
WSU admissions announced recently that in-person classes will return for the most part in the upcoming fall semester. Online classes are manageable; however, in-person classes seem to go much smoother in almost every aspect. Getting to know professors and classmates on a more personal level can only happen in person and that is to return soon.
Making Friends
Making friends in classes is one of the best things in college. Depending on the class, if it is for your major, you will find that you have a lot of the same interests with others making it easy to bond with them. If the class is a general education, you can still find others to help along the way and will make friends that way. With COVID-19, it is hard to find activities around campus to meet new people. That will change this fall semester because WSU will be hosting more events for students to get out of their rooms and interact and have fun with others.
As you can see, there is plenty to look forward to this fall on-campus as we begin to return to normal. See you in Fall 2021!
