See more details on WSU\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/emergency\/dashboard.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">COVID-19 dashboard<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Be Careful Out There.<\/h3>\n<p>Even though our campus numbers are holding steady, Winona County, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and surrounding regions are seeing a rapid rise in COVID-19 spread.<\/p>\n<p>Hospitals across the state have strained resources and many are at capacity. Be cautious when going out into the community:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Avoid crowded places<\/li>\n<li>Wear your mask<\/li>\n<li>Keep a 6-foot distance<\/li>\n<li>Wash your hands thoroughly<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_blurb title=&#8221;Spring Break Decision&#8221; content_max_width=&#8221;100%&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Spring Break Decision Blurb&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_level=&#8221;h2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Thank you to those who completed the Spring Break survey. It was a difficult decision, but WSU leadership decided that, to help control the spread of COVID-19, we <strong>won\u2019t be taking a week off<\/strong> for Spring Break.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, we will be taking <strong>Break Days throughout the semester<\/strong>.
