Join me for this quick video tutorial on how to wear a facemask with glasses. Help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect yourself and others&#8230; without fogging up your glasses.<\/p>\n<p>Need a facemask? You can make your own cloth face covering at home. Check out this <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/coronavirus\/2019-ncov\/prevent-getting-sick\/diy-cloth-face-coverings.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DIY guide from the CDC<\/a> for step-by-step directions and helpful tips to keep you protected.<\/p>\n<h3>Tips on How to Wear a Facemask with Glasses<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Wash glasses with soapy water<\/li>\n<li>Fold the top fourth of the mask before wearing it.<\/li>\n<li>Put a tissue at the top of the mask, over the bridge of your nose<\/li>\n<li>Add a paperclip to the nose area to create a tight connection<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>Need a Mask? Just Ask!<\/h3>\n<p>Effective Monday, July 13, 2020, all students, faculty and staff, and visitors (including contractors, service providers, vendors, and suppliers) are <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.winona.edu\/rochester\/blog\/masks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">required to use a cloth face covering<\/a> to cover both the nose and mouth at all times when on any Winona State University campus or property, including in Rochester.<\/p>\n<p>Free cloth face masks will be available to all WSU-Rochester students, faculty and staff at the start of the fall semester.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.winona.edu\/rochester\/blog\/wsu-rochester-is-ready-for-you-this-fall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">We are ready<\/a>\u00a0to stay safe and to keep learning. Stay tuned for distribution details.<\/p>\n<p>The City of Rochester is currently distributing free face masks at locations across the city while supplies last. Free masks may be obtained from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.rplmn.org\/services\/bookmobile\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Rochester Public Library Bookmobile<\/a>, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.medcitybeat.com\/news-blog\/2020\/mayo-civic-center-day-center\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Mayo Civic Center Day Center<\/a>, Rochester Police Department Squad Cars, Rochester Fire Stations, and the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/imaa.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>You can also make your own cloth face covering at home.
