We are expected to do well in classes, maintain relationships with friends and family, participate in extracurricular activities to build our resumes, and sometimes have a job. That small list is hardly scratching the surface of the myriad of things we want and have to do as college students. Unfortunately, many of us find ourselves forgetting one of the most important things: taking care of ourselves.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:0,&quot;335551620&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Between the physical and mental exhaustion of burnout and the daily struggle with my own mental health, it can be hard to prioritize my health and happiness during the academic year. There is so much pressure on working as hard as we can through the Fall &amp; Spring, that by the time we get a break, it is easy to spend that time counting down to coming back to school. Thankfully, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/healthservices\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Health &amp; Wellness Services<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> here on campus are here for those days when I cannot do it myself.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335551550&quot;:0,&quot;335551620&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">I can always count on H&amp;WS and the abundance of resources they make available to me as a student to help me out when I\u2019m in need. A quick trip to the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/wellness\/\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">Integrated Wellness Center<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> makes taking better care of myself and my health easier than ever. During a SANE exam, they provide all kinds of treatment, from evidence gathering, to pregnancy prevention and testing, to treatment for STIs. Midterms and the lack of sunshine in my life have me extremely eager for summertime and a wave of relief. Fortunately for me, I know I\u2019m not alone, and I am aware of the resources we have on campus to help me out. Whenever this time of year rolls around, I remember how awesome <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/healthservices\/\">Health & Wellness Services<\/a> are on campus.<\/p><p>I\u2019m excited to present to you a few of my favorite parts of H&WS here on campus at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/wellness\/\">Integrated Wellness Center<\/a>.
