The green bandana means that person is an advocate for mental health.<\/p>\n<p>The Green Bandana Project is a national initiative, and\u00a0the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/wellness\/green-bandana-project.asp\">WSU Green Bandana Project<\/a> was launched in January 2019.<\/p>\n<p>It was started by two WSU students&#8211; Taylor Juresh and Kari Schneiss&#8211;\u00a0who wanted to make sure that their fellow Warriors who are struggling with mental health had the resources and community support they needed.<\/p>\n<h2>Be Part of the Green Bandana Project<\/h2>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_2,1_2&#8243; admin_label=&#8221;Row #2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_blurb admin_label=&#8221;Join Blurb&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_level=&#8221;h2&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>To be part of the Green Bandana Project, you can take a pledge and pick up a green bandana in The WELL (IWC 138).<\/p>\n<p>You will need to know <a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.winona.edu\/wellness\/project\/how-to-help-someone-in-distress\/\">how to help someone in distress<\/a>.
