Just click the title of the course and <strong>review the Notes section<\/strong> for more information.<\/p>\n<p>There are also plenty of people to help you including your faculty advisor and advisors in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winona.edu\/wsc\/default.asp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Warrior Success Center<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Amy Meyer and Darcie Anderson are two such WSC advisors.<\/p>\n<p>Here\u2019s their explanation about the differences between the course delivery options. They also offer some advice on which options are better fit depending on your learning and lifestyle.<\/p>\n<h2>All in for Online Courses<\/h2>\n<p>Online courses are best for students who are studying from home or live in another location outside of Winona.<\/p>\n<p>To do well in an online class, you need to be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>very organized<\/li>\n<li>good at managing your time<\/li>\n<li>pro-active in asking questions and getting help<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There are two types of fully online courses delivery options.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row column_structure=&#8221;1_2,1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_column type=&#8221;1_2&#8243; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;][et_pb_blurb title=&#8221;Completely Online Asynchronous&#8221; admin_label=&#8221;Async Blurb&#8221; _builder_version=&#8221;4.6.6&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221; header_level=&#8221;h3&#8243;]<\/p>\n<p>Course has <strong>no designated meeting times<\/strong>. Students follow the syllabus for course assignments, due dates, and exam schedules.<\/p>\n<h4>Pick this option if you:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>have an irregular and\/or full-time work schedule<\/li>\n<li>need flexibility in your study times<\/li>\n<li>Are a parent (see reasons above)<\/li>\n<li>Aren\u2019t likely to struggle with the content of this specific class.
