In April, a group of WSU alumni came together at Channel One Regional Food Bank in Rochester, MN to take part in the fight against hunger. The team packed over 1,800 pounds of granola into bags to be used in the organization’s backpack program, which provides nutritious food to chronically hungry children over weekends and out-of-school times.
Spring Sports Weekend
During a late weekend in April, Warriors came back for a jam-packed Spring Sports Weekend. From baseball, softball and football (spring) games, to Gameday Experience and a chili-cook off, to reunions for baseball, softball and men’s rugby – we loved having everyone back on campus.
International Women’s Day

Twins Spring Training
The WSU Alumni Office traveled to Florida in March to check out the action at the Minnesota Twins Spring Training with this fun group of Warriors!
Handshake (could this be a little call out box since it’s not an event recap like all the rest?)
This past spring, WSU Career Services implemented a new job and internship recruitment system called Handshake. Did you know that as an alum of WSU, you have access? Handshake allows you to find a job, share your resume with employers, or register for career events – check it out at wsu.mn/handshake-alumni-2019.
Are you a Warrior looking to hire Warriors? Handshake can help! Learn more at wsu.mn/handshake-employer-2019.
