WSU students and Chartwells filled boxes with healthy snacks for children in Winona as part of Ellen DeGeneres’ and Cheerios’ One Million Acts of Good initiative. 

 

 

The Bag the Bag group set up a table to have students take a pledge to reduce their single-use plastic.

WSU’s Persuasion and Advocacy course worked to bring awareness to the issue of excess plastic bags and make it easier to recycle them through their Bag the Bags event on campus.

Students founded a WSU chapter of the Green Bandana Project, to help people who are struggling with mental illness realize the support and resources around them.
