About the Improving Our World Blog
At Winona State University, we pride ourselves on being “a community of learners improving our world” and this blog is intended to be a record of student experiences and activities as they make a difference in the local community and around the world. Whether they volunteer with Winona’s Habitat for Humanity program, help out at a Jamaican orphanage on a travel study with the Special Education department, or gain global awareness and experience a new culture by studying abroad, WSU students positively impact the community around them.
