Winona State University announces the appointment of Dr. Jeanine E. Gangeness (GANG-ness) to the position of Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs, effective July 1, 2015.
Gangeness will serve as the chief academic and operations administrator responsible for managing the WSU-Rochester campus. She will work with deans, faculty, and staff to create sustainable and collaborative programming at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and work closely with the Winona campus to connect student services and programs.
“Dr. Gangeness will provide vision and leadership for Winona State’s Rochester campus,” said Patricia L. Rogers, Provost and Vice-President for Academic Affairs. “With her strong background developing and maintaining partnerships, strategic planning, and her commitment to diversity, I’m confident she’s the right person to help shape our future in Rochester.
Gangeness previously served as the Founding Dean of the Bemidji State University School of Nursing. She graduated from the University of North Dakota and holds a Master of Science and Ph.D. in nursing.
