Relay For Life Community Manager Rich Kramer stated, “The Winona State University-Rochester team was very engaged and an excellent group of young ladies. WSU-Rochester can be very proud of their representation in this Relay For Life event!”
The American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life events serve as a powerful way to raise awareness and funds in the fight against cancer. The events offer an opportunity to honor the cancer survivors, provide cancer prevention information, and raise money to help find a cure. Information about the event or how to donate can be found here.
Junior Nursing Club President Maggie McLaird shared, “Coming together for this Relay For Life event was so refreshing! You could see the outpouring of love and friendship and the effect that such positivity can have. I am extremely proud of all my classmates and am honored to be a part of such a compassionate and motivated group of people. We cannot wait to get back out there next year, set new goals for ourselves and find more people to help. The gift of giving is truly the greatest of them all!”
