Tips on How to Wear a Facemask with Glasses
- Wash glasses with soapy water
- Fold the top fourth of the mask before wearing it.
- Put a tissue at the top of the mask, over the bridge of your nose
- Add a paperclip to the nose area to create a tight connection

Effective Monday, July 13, 2020, all students, faculty and staff, and visitors (including contractors, service providers, vendors, and suppliers) are required to use a cloth face covering to cover both the nose and mouth at all times when on any Winona State University campus or property, including in Rochester.
Free cloth face masks will be available to all WSU-Rochester students, faculty and staff at the start of the fall semester. We are ready to stay safe and to keep learning. Stay tuned for distribution details.
The City of Rochester is currently distributing free face masks at locations across the city while supplies last. Free masks may be obtained from the Rochester Public Library Bookmobile, the Mayo Civic Center Day Center, Rochester Police Department Squad Cars, Rochester Fire Stations, and the Intercultural Mutual Assistance Association.
