Can you feel it? I can! It’s the energy of summer, the excitement of meeting up with friends and family, and the enthusiasm of a bright future! As I stop by our WSU-Rochester offices, I notice that our smiles seem a little bit bigger. The faculty and students are thrilled to see each other. It is exciting to see our campus community coming back together with confidence in our futures and our work.

With all this excitement, I feel like having a party and dancing around Rochester! Join me and the WSU-Rochester community as we welcome students back to our quality academic programs. Together we can expand opportunities… and get ready to rock!

Of course, none of this is possible without widespread vaccinations. Rock responsibly! If you are not yet fully vaccinated, WSU strongly recommends that you get a vaccine if you are eligible.

We will continue to rock right into the fall semester. We are back in the classroom on August 23.

I am more than ready. Are you?

For more information in getting involved with local outreach for WSU, please contact Joe Hammes at joseph.hammes@winona.edu.

Ready to (Virtually) Rock

WSU-Rochester is proud to expand the boundaries of higher education with flexible and accessible programs that fit the lives of working adults and busy students. Our academic programs offer a mix of in-person, online and hybrid classes.

If you are not able join us in Rochester in person, you can still rock out with WSU-Rochester from the comfort of your own home. We are bringing the party to you! We recently hosted virtual spring concerts for our transfer and graduate studies students. Check out these exclusive performances from two of our favorite local bands, Good Morning Bedlam and Loud Mouth Brass.
