COVID Vaccine Incentives

What is it going to take for you to make the decision to get vaccinated, or even get your booster shot? Everyone has their price. Is it a $250 gift card to the bookstore to have your textbook costs covered for a semester? An iPad to help with your studies? What about MN Twins tickets for you and a friend? 

Wait–what if I got my COVID-19 vaccine & booster as soon as I was eligible to get one? Can I still get incentives? YES! We have incentives for everyone who isn’t up to date and rewards for those who got vaccinated right away.

We asked our students what it would take for them to get their COVID-19 vaccine. WSU Student Senate and Health & Wellness Services are collaborating to get you the educational resources and incentives you need to help you make the decision to get your COVID-19 vaccine. 

What are the prizes?

There are different prizes and number of prizes that are given out in each tier. If you meet the criteria for the tier you will have your name submitted for the drawing. Prizes range from $250 gift cards to a Nintendo Switch to Apple AirPod Pros. 

Vaccine incentives are available to current WSU students. Deadline to sign-up is April 22nd 2022, winners are contacted April 25th 2022.

Tier 1

To be eligible for this tier, you need to have received your initial COVID vaccine series in 2021.

Tier 2

To be eligible for this tier, you need to have received your booster shot once you were eligible to get one (2021–April 22nd 2022).

  • $250 Kwik Trip Gift Card 
  • $250 Hy-Vee Gift Card 

Tier 3

To be eligible for this tier, you need to have received your initial COVID vaccine series at any point throughout the spring 2022 semester (Jan 1st–April 22nd).

Where can I get vaccinated?

WSU Health Services offers COVID-19 vaccines daily in the upstairs clinic IWC 222 from 10–11:30AM & 2:30–4PM.
