On-Campus Living Is Where It’s At

Living on campus is the best way to make the most of your time at Winona State. It’s also how you’ll meet lifelong friends, be close to campus activities, participate in study sessions, and enjoy the benefits of great meal options.

So much of the college experience centers around on-campus housing. It’s convenient and you’ll have quality housing at an affordable cost–not to mention, an instant community!

And here’s a good tip: the earlier you apply for housing, the earlier your slot will be in the room selection process. The housing application opens Sept. 15, so mark your calendar!

All WSU residence halls come with basic amenities like lounge areas, laundry facilities, and mail service, yet all offer a variety of unique features.

Make Yourself at Home

All rooms come furnished, so there’s no need to buy (or move!) heavy furniture. Common spaces are maintained by the university and the cost of your room, utilities, maintenance, and meal plan are rolled into one fee, so you can focus on classes and meeting new friends.

The people you meet and relationships you form will make a big impact on your WSU experience. Roommates become friends, RAs become role models, and the people in your residence hall will be there for you as you get used to your new home.

We’ve Got Your Back

Safety and security are high priorities on the WSU campus–especially within the residence halls.

We have a dedicated campus security staff, plus each building has secure entrances and front desks with student workers to help you make your way around campus and answer your questions.

As for food, students in the residence halls sign up for a meal plan, which provides great food choices such as Panda Express, Einstein Bros., and our all-you-care-to-eat dining hall.

Plus, you have plan flexibility at certain times during the year, so you’re not locked in.

WISE

Housing & Residence Life promotes a Welcoming, Inclusive, Safe, and Engaging
living and learning environment.

This mission statement holds true for all residential staff who not only serve as role models through their guidance, but also contribute to student success through their various events in our residence halls.
