Winona State University invites the community to attend Homecoming 2012 Oct. 16-20. This year’s theme is “Blast From The Past.”
The Fifth Annual Warrior Waddle 5K Run/Walk will start at 8 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Lake Park Lodge. This fundraiser for Women’s Track and Field and Cross Country will circle East Lake Winona. For registration information, visit www.alumni.winona.edu.
The annual Homecoming Parade will begin at 10 a.m. and travel along Huff Street, beginning at Broadway and proceeding to Mark Street. Parade line-up will take place at 9 a.m. on Broadway, from Huff Street to Grand Street.
Following the parade, the Pre-game Tailgate will take place in the Verizon Stadium parking lot. The Homecoming football game vs. Minnesota State, Mankato will start at 1 p.m. on Maxwell Field at Verizon Stadium.
