Winona State University will host its annual Homecoming celebration through Sunday, Oct. 26. The theme this year is “WSU is Out of this World.”
The Homecoming parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 25, on Huff Street from Broadway to Mark Street. After the parade, community members are invited to attend the new campus and community tailgate party from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the WSU Courtyard. Tailgate foods will be available for $5 per person, and there will be activities to enjoy, including a photo booth and lawn games. (Rain location: Kryzsko Commons) The Warrior football team will kick off against Sioux Falls at 2:30 p.m. at Maxwell Field at Warrior Stadium.
Additional Homecoming events include Women’s Soccer, the 2014 Distinguished Alumni and Hall of Fame awards, Pep Fest, Warrior Waddle 5K Run/Walk, and community clean-up event.
