Winona State University will host Homecoming 2016 Monday, Oct. 10 through Sunday, Oct. 16. The theme will be “A Hero’s Homecoming.”
The grand parade will step-off at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, on Huff Street from Broadway Street to Mark Street. After the parade, the community is invited to the WSU Community Tailgate Party from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the courtyard (rain location: East Hall in Kryzsko Commons).
There will also be a tailgate party before the football game starting at 1 p.m. in the Integrated Wellness Complex parking lot. Meals at this event are $5.
The WSU football team will host the University of Sioux Falls Cougars at 2:30 p.m. at Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium.
Additional Homecoming events include the 2016 Distinguished Alumni award banquet, the Athletic Hall of Fame Induction, the Warrior Waddle 5K Run/Walk, Pep Fest and a Sunday cleanup.
